Alex's Coffee Adventure

Dear family, friends, teachers, professors, acquaintances, and maybe people I’ve never met: welcome to my blog for this summer! I will spend 8 weeks learning about coffee through a Q Grader course in Williamsburg, VA, apprenticeships in Bogota, Colombia, and working on a coffee cooperative in Quindio, Colombia.

I wanted to document this experience for two audiences: for me, and for everyone else. For me, I want to get better at journaling, reflecting, and appreciating things as they happen. For everyone else, I hope this website can be a repository of what I’ve learned through the Q course and in Colombia. And for mom, it’s so that you know I am ok!

There’s not much on here yet, but I’m working on it! So far, I’ve got the site up (thank you Anna for your help!) and I’m working on The Backstory. I’ll post updates here as often as I can – hopefully a few times a week.
